Sonus faber Concertino G4
THE MAESTRO EDITION
Celebrating the 30th Anniversary from the first Sonus faber Concertino introduction, with a limited run of 300 pairs of Concertino ‘Maestro’ special editions, featuring a brass plaque with progressive numbering applied on the walnut side panel of the speaker.
LIMITED EDITION
This special edition embodies the rich artisanal and acoustic tradition of the renowned Italian brand.
Just like in the Italian artisan workshops of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, where an apprentice worked under the guidance of a master for years before becoming a journeyman and eventually aspiring to the title of master through the creation of a ‘masterpiece’, the Maestro Edition represents the culmination of decades of experience, craftsmanship, and innovation.
RESPECT FOR TRADITION AND PASSION FOR INNOVATION
Concertino is a love song for our past played on a musical instrument of the future. It is a combination of a classic design with cutting-edge advancements in technology.
PLANT-BASED LEATHER
Concertino marks the first introduction of a new eco-friendly leather, produced by the Italian start-up Ohoskin, used to cover the front baffle and cork structure.
Its sustainably sourced from the derivatives of Sicilian oranges and prickly pears.
This plant-based alternative to leather is one of the first non-fossil variations, ensuring that audiophiles who purchase Concertino receive materials of the highest quality in luxury audio sound reproduction while making a positive environmental impact.
ACOUSTIC PROPERTIES OF CORK
The unique innovation of Concertino lies in the structure of its central chassis — crafted out of cork.
The structure of cork allows it to cleanly mould into each design, limiting internal resonances and reducing damping material inside the cabinet.
This natural material adapts to the different needs of each speaker, making it ideal for Concertino but also a valuable asset to a growing number of other collections, such as Suprema and Sonetto.
Concertino marks the first time cork has been used while paired with a mid-woofer.
SOLID WOOD
In keeping with the tradition of Sonus faber’s luxury speakers and Natural Sound philosophy, the side walls of the cabinet are made of solid walnut — a material known not just for its quality but also its acoustic properties.
The ribbing of the surface adds structure and rigidity to the wood cabinet in place of internal bracing.

The first pioneering project by Franco Serblin, founder of Sonus faber. A completely new concept for that time, an all-in-one system entirely made in solid wood.
On March 25, 1983 Sonus faber becomes a company in its first headquarter, a small laboratory in Monteviale, on the hills of Vicenza.
Sonus faber launches its first product Parva, a 2-way monitor speaker with a midrange cone in Kevlar and the cabinet in solid walnut wood.
Now well-established: accurate design and high quality natural materials for a natural sound reproduction.
